I am! I was 38 when I got diagnosed with stage 3 grade 3 breast cancer. It was very aggressive. It started out as only a one but within 3 months and my doctor’s lagging It progressed very quickly. But I am okay! I am now 4 years cancer-free 💖

Thank you for sharing! You are stunning!!!
I had long straight brown hair too pre-chemo (the glitter was definitely starting to show though too lol) I have 3 more chemo left 🎉 and it’s starting to grow back. I’m as the fussy head stage. Loving the maintenance haha! I figured because it’s straight up now, it wouldn’t be curly but you just showed me things change! So we shall see! And the curls even stayed on you! Love the color and your smile 💗 I hope you are doing well!
I have a second surgery to take more lymph nodes and radiation to go until I’m done but prognosis is great! I’ll be fine 🙂 This is all temporary for me and my family so I’ve been able to stay in good spirits. Very thankful! Take care and thanks again!! From NL, Canada 🇨🇦 ☺️

Sheri, I can feel your spirit through your comment! God has amazing plans for you and your testimony will open doors for others to find hope! The surgeries are tough! But you will soon be on the other side. Rest and continue to find joy in each step. My prayers are with you.

Wow Sheri! Your mom positive outlook is so inspiring. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer about 2 months ago. I had a mastectomy just two weeks ago, and have been advice to start chemo in 2 weeks. Im honestly scared and worried about what this can do to my unborn baby. I have asked if we could wait until baby’s due date, which is January 12th, but due to the aggressive cancer, they are concern that it could come back and don’t want too much time to pass. I’m holding on to Gods hands and asking him for a sign to decide what to do. It’s just a bit harder because I want my baby to be safe . Im happy for you and your high spirits, hugs to you pink sister 🩷

Thank you for sharing your story! I finished chemo for breast cancer in September. My hair is also gray and curly! I am not surprised about the gray, I knew that was under all that dye I had been using for years, but curls are a new thing for me. I am having fun with them, wondering if they will hang around. Yours are gorgeous! Cancer is a devastating diagnosis that changes you in so many ways, but I too and feeling fat and rich in Jesus!

Thank you Vonda! My curls have stayed! I was so sad with hair in the beginning, but it’s been a beautiful example to me of God’s recompense and what the enemy wants for evil, God uses for His glory and our good. I get 10x more compliments on my hair now than I ever did. And it gives me the opportunity to tell people what happened and how God took my old and gave me new! I need to post some new pictures.

Hi Miranda. Thank you for sharing! I just finished chemo in November and I’m in the fuzzy gray hair stage. I had to do a bilateral mastectomy first, then unfortunately go back and remove all the lymph nodes since there was cancer in the ones they took out with the first surgery. Once healed, I did 6 rounds of 2 chemo drugs. I have to admit, losing my hair was just as tough as the diagnosis. But God has been so present through it all. From the beginning I have been saying “this is just another thing, and God works all things together for my good!”.
I think this is a hard stage. During the diagnosis, surgeries and chemo, all my friends, family, neighbors rallied around, brought food, came to visit and called often to check on me. Now that it is done, all that stopped, but no one prepared me for how long you have the side effects of chemo. I thought as soon as it was done, I would start feeling better. Wrong! But God is faithful, and I find encouragement from people like you who have made it through this phase and show me it will end. I am encouraged by how long and beautiful your hair is! I have to remember, this is just another thing!

Hello Carin ❤️ My first year cancer free might have been my trickiest. It’s the “I’m fine but I’m not fine” chapter. You are so happy to alive but you also have no idea who you are anymore. You just looked death in the face now you need to cook dinner. Not only do you need to go through this self discovery stage, but your body and hormones and chemicals are completely different. This was a big piece for me. Depressive symptoms found me. Once I started supplementing to balance my chemical and did a detox to clean my systems out, did I finally feel healthy. But I believe the internal healing takes years. People told me that in the beginning and I thought they were crazy. But now I understand. Healing and rediscovery takes time. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. I look forward to hearing more about your story and your healing! My prayers are with you.
